Created in 2002, the House of Manoush is a French company producing high end, ready-to-wear women's clothing, which has succeeded by breaking the rules and challenging conventions. It all started when Frédérique Trou-Roy, the label's creator and designer, returned from a trip to Morocco. The colours, materials and fragrances of the souks served as her inspiration, and on her return to Paris, she took a small treasury of customised accessories that she had discovered for sale on her travels. These accessories were an overnight success, but Frédérique did not stop there: her travels to India, the Middle East and Africa served as a further source of inspiration, giving rise to the Manoush label, which incorporates felinity, a Bohemian attitude, and artisanal craftsmanship. The style of the Manoush label can be identified through its use of embroidery, its work with sequins, and its colourful patterns that ensure that every item in the collection is a truly unique piece.
